1. Carsen Edwards

Not only is Carsen Edwards a name most fans know, but he’s also worth a good look at No. 34. As the star player for Purdue this past season, Edwards exhibited an array of scoring skills that will help him generate good looks at the next level.

Whether on or off the ball, Edwards has a knack for putting the ball through the basket. Despite intense defensive attention (because he was Purdue’s alpha and omega), he still hit 35.5 percent of his 10.6 3-point attempts per game. Those 10.6 attempts represent a ridiculous figure, which only two NBA players surpassed this season: James Harden (13.2) and Stephen Curry (11.7).

In a more specialized role, Edwards could be a deadly microwave scorer. He’s too small to be a consistent starter in the NBA, but he can get buckets with aplomb and allow star scorers a chance to rest.

The Sixers, like many other teams, would welcome a player like Carsen Edwards. When Butler needs a break, he could come in and either play off Simmons, or run the offense himself with fiery bucket-getting.
