Highlights

The high point of Rondo’s season came in his old stomping grounds, when he hit a buzzer-beater to lift the Lakers over the Celtics on Feb. 7. He finished that game with 17 points and 10 assists.

Rondo scored a season-best 24 points against another former team, the Pelicans, on March 31. He added 12 assists and three steals.

On Jan. 24, after missing 14 games due to injury, Rondo returned to the lineup and put up 15 points and 13 assists against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

On March 4 against the Los Angeles Clippers, Rondo had 24 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds. With that stat line, he made history by becoming the first NBA player to get a triple-double with five different teams.
