3. Get off to a better start, cut down turnovers, etc.

In Game 2, the Bucks scored the first nine points of the game, which set the tone for the rest of the evening. In fact, they led by double-digits over the final 39 minutes of that contest.

In Game 3, though, it was the Raptors that got off to a quick start following a layup by Giannis Antetokounmpo. Thanks to the quick outburst, the home team never trailed again in regulation.

In addition to that, the Bucks were a bit careless with the basketball, to say the least. In the opening quarter, they committed six turnovers that led to 10 points for the Raptors.

That trend continued for the duration of the game, with the Bucks committing 20 turnovers resulting in 21 points for Toronto. Simply put, you can’t give an opponent extra possessions because they will make you pay for those miscues more times than not, as the Raptors proved in Game 3.

Another area where the Bucks failed to make the grade was free throw shooting. From a positive standpoint, they had 33 attempts. The bad news is they missed one-third of those attempts, shooting 66.7 percent from the charity stripe. In other words, Milwaukee left some points on the table in this category.
