Overall

Jarrett Culver has the potential to be just what the Cleveland Cavaliers need. Versatile wings that can rebound, defend, create plays and attack the rim are important to every team in today’s NBA. Culver could even take this one step further by improving as a shooter and becoming an elite 3-and-D wing player.

The biggest concern for the Cavaliers would be if Culver’s jump shot fails to translate to the league. Cleveland is already struggling for elite 3-point shooters and adding another shaky shooter isn’t a great idea.

Still, Culver posses a skill-set that not many prospects in the draft have as a talented scorer off the dribble with great a great physical build and the ability to rebound and defend. Culver would fit in perfectly with the Cavaliers’ current lineup and would have an instant impact on both ends of the floor.

Overall, Culver is the perfect combination of a safe pick with high upside. He certainly looks ready to play for an NBA team and the Cavaliers might be the team to give him that chance.
