Pros

Jarrett Culver’s greatest strength is his slashing ability. He has a quick first step and is explosive out of the triple-threat position. His length and smooth skill-set give him the advantage over most defenders as they have no hope of stopping his aggressive moves to the rim.

Culver averaged 18.5 points per game last season and shot 52.6 percent on 2-point attempts. This highlights how strong of a finisher he is. However, he is much more than just a slasher, as he has displayed patient playmaking skills and can find open cutters. His 3.7 assists per game show that he is a willing passer, but does have a bit of room to grow as he also averages 2.7 turnovers a game.

Though he is listed at 6’5″, many believe Culver is playing closer to 6’8″ due to comparison pictures of him standing next to taller players. One thing is for certain: He has a gigantic wingspan and very broad shoulders. This has helped him become an above-average rebounder, hauling in 6.4 rebounds a game last year.

Culver has also shown promise as a pull-up shooter. The jump shot was one of his biggest areas for improvement during his collegiate career, but if he can continue to improve as a shooter then he will become a very versatile scoring threat in the NBA.
