Cam Reddish began his college career by drawing comparisons to Paul George for a reason. Playing with a similar build to PG13 at 6’8” with a 7’1” wingspan, Cam displays the same silky-smooth offense and gritty defensive capabilities that have made George a borderline superstar in the NBA.
In his senior year of high school, Cam averaged 28.4 points per game on an incredible 58.3 percent shooting from the 3-point line and 51.0 percent shooting overall. He was a killer from deep and his athletic ability helped him find easy looks at any moment of the game.
The transition to college wasn’t perfect, but Reddish did have a few successful stretches during his freshman campaign. He had eight games of 20+ points and nine games in which he connected on four or more 3-point attempts. He is a very versatile scorer when he is hot with the ability to read the defense and connect on a number of different shots.
On the defensive end, Cam’s 6’8″ frame and freakish 8’10” standing reach help him have a big impact. He has quick feet, which combined with his length allows him to cover large areas of the court. Reddish has plenty of room to grow on both ends but has shown enough potential to excite NBA scouts.
