1.  The north must remember to support its superstar

Prior to writing this article and sifting through my notes, far too often something along the lines of ” Where is Player X” was written across my page.

That’s the best way to describe what has been the playoff run for the supporting cast for the 2018-19 Toronto Raptors.

Even when key cogs like Kyle Lowry or Pascal Siakam perform like dependable No. 2 options (they’re not), I can’t remember one time that the supporting cast of the Toronto Raptors offered a day in which Kawhi Leonard could underperform and the Raptors still win.

Why is Danny Green incapable of finding his rhythm two games into the series, or why has Norman Powell been marginalized even though he has made a resurgence after a couple of down years.

Why is pick-and-roll maestro and mid-range assassin Jeremy Lin glued to the bench after being heralded as the missing piece next to a non-existent Fred VanVleet, who once earned the nickname “Steady Freddy.”

Up until this point of the season, it hasn’t been a problem, but with the Raptors facing a mountain of adversity, it’s time for the Raptors to perform before the North falls.
