2. Jarrett Culver

Even though the three aforementioned prospects could end up being selected inside the top-3 of the draft, the New York Knicks are almost certain to select a shooting guard in June. Thus, their options may be limited to just a pair of top-notch prospects.

The first of the pair could be the loser of De’Andre Hunter’s career night, Jarrett Culver. Culver led the third-seeded Texas Tech Red Raiders all the way to the national championship game, beating top teams like Gonzaga, Michigan and Michigan State in the process.

So why exactly should the New York Knicks take a flyer with Jarrett Culver? Well for starters, he seems to fit perfectly in the starting five. By trading away Tim Hardaway Jr., the Knicks are in desperate need of a shooting guard, and Culver could be the franchise cornerstone for the next decade or so.

It is well-known that the Knicks will be a very active organization in the 2019 offseason, as many top free agents could view New York as their next possible destination.

The thing is, there aren’t any shooting guards that could end up in the Big Apple when it’s all said and done. Enter Jarrett Culver, the man destined to fill that shooting guard spot — or any wing spot, really — for the Knicks.
