The New Orleans Pelicans rocked the league when they ended up with the first overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft Lottery. Other teams weren’t as lucky, but can still find plenty of consolation prizes within the draft. Here’s the latest 2019 NBA Mock Draft.
With the 2019 NBA Draft Lottery shaking everything up in terms of where teams were predicted to pick, franchises will now have to adjust their plans accordingly. Without much separation after the first 3-4 prospects compared to years past, it’s anyone’s guess as to where most of these players will end up, making for an exciting draft night.
Lottery teams will be eager to nail their picks in order to secure building blocks for the future, while teams picking later in the draft will hope to find solid rotation pieces or diamonds in the rough.
Fit can be everything, so finding the right guy who can develop the most and change your franchise for the better is not an easy task. With unexpected trades, private workouts and free agency all on the way, there is no shortage of entertainment in the NBA, but draft night may just crown them all.
