8. Isaiah Thomas receiving his tribute video returning to Boston

Ever since the fateful trade two summers ago that moved Kyrie Irving to Boston, Isaiah Thomas — who’s since bounced from Cleveland to the Los Angeles Lakers and now Denver — has never quite been the player he was in his Celtics heyday. Boston fans certainly can’t forget his playing in the playoffs after tragically losing his younger sister in a car accident.

This past March, the Celtics honored his memory in the green and white with an emotional, minute-long tribute video detailing his highlights and memorable moments as a Celtic. The video was received by the fans with a roaring applause, and Thomas couldn’t resist a smile.

It was a moment of closure for the former Celtic who had given his heart and soul to the team. Although the trade shocked many fans and players alike, the video proved there is still a mutual respect between IT and the organization.
