9. Jayson Tatum wins the Skills Challenge during All-Star Weekend

As if there was something that Jayson Tatum couldn’t do. In spectacular fashion during All-Star weekend, Jayson Tatum showed just how versatile he is by winning the Taco Bell Skills Challenge against rookie guard Trae Young.

Tatum and Young were the finalists and raced against each other through the obstacles of the final round, all boiling down to one long range shot after slaloming through the course. Tatum was strides behind Young when he launched a half-court shot to try and beat the streaking Atlanta Hawks guard.

He banked in the shot ahead of Young’s 3 and stole a victory, proving again that his overall talent is not to be underestimated — even in the midst of All-Star weekend when players are generally laid-back.

A disgruntled Trae Young still smiled and shook the young star’s hand, commending him for the victory, as Tatum hoisted the 2019 Skills Challenge Trophy.
