10. Ben Simmons spins off Noah Vonleh, dunks and stares him down on the ground
When an NBA team knows that it is a bona fide playoff contender, oftentimes there won’t be any bottled up emotion against a weaker opponent. The New York Knicks were just the scrimmage-like prey the Sixers needed to trounce ahead of the Christmas holiday.
On a bitter December night against the Knicks, Ben Simmons turned in a first half laden with frustration and angst. What followed? A steam face emoji – along with a mean stare-down on this spin and slam against Noah Vonleh.
It’s fair to say that not many players love dunking a basketball more than this Australia native:

Not only did Simmons notch his fourth triple-double of the year on this night, but he spearheaded a run in the final quarter that extended the Sixers’ lead to 22 points, ultimately putting an end to the team’s streak of woeful outings.
