1. Joel Embiid drives past Marc Gasol for dunk in Game 7

It’s clear that Joel Embiid dominated this list. But it’s also clear that he dominated the entire 2018-19 campaign. The 25-year-old big man took tremendous strides in his third NBA season, and he arguably snatched the throne as the league’s best overall center along the way. Despite the hindrances to his overall potential — appearing in less than 65 games each season — Embiid is the best player Philly has had since the Allen Iverson era.

In Game 7 against the Toronto Raptors, Embiid played the most out of any other Sixer – logging 21 points and 11 boards in 45 minutes of action. During a stirring sequence where the exhausted Sixers could’ve face-planted, Embiid silenced a deafening Toronto crowd with some thunder of his own:

It’s not his greatest play in the slightest, but that’s just what makes it so unique. Take Marc Gasol’s postseason experience into account here: The fact that Embiid, who has only two appearances under his belt, goes directly at him in this precarious stretch of the game is downright admirable.
