5. Ben Simmons grabs pass on the break and launches to rim without a dribble

After a sputtering start to the playoffs, the Sixers collectively decided to lace up their work boots. They dropped Game 1 of their first round series against the 6-seeded Brooklyn Nets in embarrassing fashion. A redeeming win in Game 2 would then set up a pivotal Game 3 on the road – one where Ben Simmons proved worthy of his All-Star status.

His playoff career-high 31 points and nine assists were a devastating kick in the teeth to a surging Brooklyn team in the fourth quarter. Simmons put a damper on their wave with a Michael Jordan-esque finish off a steal, taking off from the opposite end’s foul line.
