Strengths

Russell Westbrook’s strength was his penchant for racking up triple-doubles, which speaks to his ability to contribute in a number of categories.

Westbrook was 17th in scoring at 22.9 points per game and he was the shortest player in the top 10 in rebounds (11.1 per game). Westbrook also led the league in assists per game (10.7) and total assists (784).

On the other side of the ball, Westbrook was also dominant in creating turnovers, ranking fourth in steals with 1.9 per game.

Westbrook was able to do everything on the court for the Thunder. You can say what you want about him, but he definitely leaves it all on the court when he plays.

Russ was also very durable, playing the fourth-most minutes per game this season (Paul George was second with 36.9 minutes per game) with 36.0. He played 73 games this year.
