The 2019 NBA Draft order has been revealed. Here are five prospects the Cleveland Cavaliers could select at No. 5.

It wasn’t the results the Cleveland Cavaliers were looking for in the 2019 NBA Draft Lottery, but like it or not, the Cavs will be selecting fifth overall in the upcoming draft. This position is less than ideal for Cleveland, but there are still a few potential prospects that could prove to have value at the NBA level.

Missing on a chance to draft the highly coveted Zion Williamson is obviously a crushing blow. Zion is being anointed as the NBA’s next superstar and it would’ve been a home run for Cleveland to draft him.

Still, most fans were hoping the team would at least land a top-three pick. With a somewhat promising young core already on the roster, a potential franchise player was waiting among the three top prospects in this year’s draft. Williamson, R.J. Barrett and Ja Morant are all extremely exciting players.

Sadly, the Cavaliers have fallen almost as deep as they can in the 2019 NBA Draft order. Dropping to fifth in the selection process, there are a number of players that the Cavaliers will need to take a look at before the actual draft begins in late June. Here are five prospects the Cavs should consider in the 2019 NBA Draft.
