The Golden State Warriors took down the Houston Rockets in Game 6 of the second round of the playoffs as they now head to the Western Conference Finals.

Behind another great night from Klay Thompson and a furious second half from Stephen Curry, the Golden State Warriors are going back to the Western Conference Finals after beating the Houston Rockets in Game 6.

Curry was scoreless in the first half, but he finished the game with 33 points. Thompson had 21 points in the first half to keep the game tied while his fellow splash brother worked out the kinks.

For the Rockets, Chris Paul finally came to life on the offensive end. He finished 11-of-18 for 27 points. James Harden wasn’t the most efficient, but he was able to put up 35 points on 11-of-25 shooting. They also struggled mightily to take care of the ball with 22 turnovers by the time the game came to an end.

Despite not having Kevin Durant — for what could be a good number of games — the Warriors showed they can still beat anyone, even on the road. If Durant is able to come back during the Western Conference Finals close to the level he was before he left, the Warriors would absolutely be the favorite to win the title, especially with how they have played over the past couple of games.

These Warriors are the ones that the NBA has been terrorized by for the past four years.
