Final Grade

This season was a magical one for Paul George. He was an MVP candidate for most of the season and if Harden and Giannis Antetokounmpo didn’t have the seasons they had, George may have been seriously considered for the MVP trophy.

He finished second in the league in points per game and first in steals. He even had his best season in terms of rebounding (8.2 per game). While this was his best season as a pro, the Thunder were still booted out in the first round again.

OKC was the 3-seed in the West for most of the season, but in the end they lost that position and would have been the 8-seed if it hadn’t for George’s heroics.

This was a good season individually for Paul George and it showed his maximum abilities. He was able to display his full potential when it comes to playing both sides of the ball. Now the sky is the limit for him in the upcoming seasons.
