Oklahoma City Thunder: 2018-19 player grades for Paul George
Highlights
Paul George had a lot of good moments this season. The first one was the 47 points that he hung on the Brooklyn Nets on Dec. 5. He scored 25 points in the second half to bring the Thunder all the way back and lead OKC to victory.
On Jan. 19, the Thunder faced the Philadelphia 76ers. Both teams usually give each other all they’ve got when they face off, and this game was another one that went down to the wire. After the Sixers got a late steal and score, the Thunder had the ball. Paul George hit a 3 and converted a four-point play to give the Thunder the win.
Late in the season, the Thunder needed to beat the Houston Rockets to secure better playoff positioning. After a missed free throw from James Harden, they took the ball down the court. Russell Westbrook found George in the corner for a 3-pointer and he made it. The Thunder won the game and took the 6-seed in the West.
