Oklahoma City Thunder: 2018-19 player grades for Paul George
Strengths
Paul George is one of the best two-way players in the league today. When he is able to have his way on both sides of the floor, that usually spells doom for opposing teams.
This season he was able to maximize his ability on both sides of the floor. He led the league in steals per game and total steals on defense, and went right back on offense to be the NBA’s second-leading scorer.
This season represented the most total points and most total steals he’s ever had in one season for his career. He had never gone over 2,000 points, but was able to do so this year.
PG-13 was also able to make a lot of 3-pointers. He was third in the league in 3-pointers made with 292.
George was able to show his true abilities this season and had a career season on both ends of the floor. Next season should be an exciting one to see if he can repeat or even build on this performance.
