3. Turner’s vicious poster on Gordon Hayward

Although the Pacers had a swift first round playoff exit at the hands of the Boston Celtics, they kept things close against for most of each game and had a few moments to be proud of in the series.

One of those moments came midway through Game 4 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The Pacers didn’t find much consistency in their offense at all throughout the series, but one shining moment that stood out was a ferocious dunk from Myles Turner over Gordon Hayward.

Hayward is a native of Indiana, but this play certainly didn’t feel like a “welcome home” moment.

It was also a long overdue burst of energy for Turner, who was relatively quiet offensively during the series, averaging just 9.6 points per game. Indiana didn’t have much to smile about this series, but this dunk is one thing they can look back on fondly.
