8. Myles Turner swats seven shots against Chicago

Myles Turner‘s 2018-19 campaign has cemented his place as one of the premier paint defenders in the league. He tallied 11 games with five or more rejections this season and finished this year as the league leader in blocks.

His standout performance, though, came against the Chicago Bulls in March, where he nearly recorded a triple-double with blocked shots: 10 points, 11 rebounds and seven blocks.

The seven swats that night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse marked a new career-high for the 23-year-old center, who was a big reason why Indiana’s defensive rating was at one point among the league’s best.

Without Turner’s rim protection, this team certainly wouldn’t have made it to the playoffs. Although he wasn’t the most consistent player on offense, he brought more than enough effort on defense.
