1. Victor Oladipo’s game-winner against the Celtics

Indiana’s only win of the entire season against the Celtics came off of Victor Oladipo’s game-winning 3-pointer in November. It was this moment in the early goings of the 2018-19 campaign that showed some promise for Indiana and foreshadowed this year’s success.

Oladipo’s 24 points and 12 rebounds ignited the Pacers, who were battling from behind for the better part of the game. His late-game heroics set the stage for a contentious matchup between these two teams that would extend all the way to the 2019 NBA Playoffs.

Unfortunately, the Celtics would get revenge in their next matchup in January with a 135-108 victory, and Oladipo wouldn’t get the chance to redeem himself against Kyrie Irving and the Cs after his season-ending knee injury just weeks later.

However, perhaps with a fully replenished roster next year, the Pacers could be in a position to challenge Boston a bit more, especially considering the uncertainty of Irving’s future.

For now, though, Oladipo and Pacers fans have this shot to hold onto.
