Milwaukee Bucks: 3 takeaways from Game 3 win vs. Celtics

Led by an MVP-caliber performance, Giannis Antetekoumpo and the Milwaukee Bucks regain homecourt advantage in what is set to be a back and fourth NBA Eastern semifinals series.
Giannis Antetokounmpo flexed his superstar muscles and led the Milwaukee Bucks to a Game 3 victory on the road to give the Eastern Conference’s top seed a 2-1 lead in their conference semifinal series with the Boston Celtics.
After what was seemingly a 50/50 game by the time we reached halftime, much like the two previous games prior in this battle between Eastern Conference powerhouses, the team who wins the third quarter is destined to come out on top.
Led by Antetokounmpo, one of the two contenders in the MVP race, the Bucks got a much-needed morale boost for the No. 1 seeded team.
The Celtics started the game off strong with statement buckets from basketball savant Kyrie Irving, creating a 10-2 lead that felt destined to become a blowout game from the home team.
But the balanced, consistent attack from the Bucks offense (five players in double-digits) paired with the sheer aggressiveness from their frontcourt to attack to the rim (52 points in the paint, 36 free throws attempted) seem to be the winning formula against the less physical Celtics.
