18. Rudy Gobert shows who’s the bigger man
Rudy Gobert has evolved into one of the NBA’s best defensive bigs.
On this play, he looked like a man among boys.
Andre Drummond is no small man; Basketball Reference lists him as 6’11” and 279 pounds, while Gobert is listed as 7’1” and 245 pounds — no small size difference. That didn’t matter to the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, as he yammed all over Andre Drummond.
17. Rudy Gobert earns himself a new nickname
Staying with the theme of Rudy Gobert and two-handed dunks, Gobert takes Davis Bertans as his next victim on the list.
Bertans is known more for his 3-point shooting range and marksmanship, but does have some bounce in his step. Gobert decided to change his nickname from the “Stifle Tower” to “Body Baguette” on this jam.
