Milwaukee Bucks: 5 keys to second round series vs. Celtics
The Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics swept their first round matchups in the 2019 NBA Playoffs, and they now have a huge matchup coming against each other.
The Milwaukee Bucks won their season series 2-1 against the Boston Celtics, and they rolled over the Detroit Pistons in the first round of the 2019 NBA Playoffs with a four-game sweep.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is playing like the MVP and Defensive Player of the Year at the same time. Eric Bledsoe is finally playing up to the standard necessary of him, and the Bucks are getting contributions from everyone on every part of this roster. Can they keep it all going against the Celtics, who look to be hitting their stride at just the right time?
Boston has underachieved all season. It was projected by many to win the Eastern Conference in a landslide, and it represented the NBA’s biggest threat to dethrone the Golden State Warriors. Until recently, the Celtics had struggles everywhere outside of Kyrie Irving, when he wasn’t throwing shade at his teammates. In their first round series against the Indiana Pacers, though, they showed they can turn things on when they need to close games out.
Each team is led by a superstar that is one of the best at his respective position. Both boast outstanding bench units that can put up points in a hurry while also being a defensive nightmare for opposing teams when they’re locked in. This is a battle between the 1-seed and the 4-seed, but it could easily look like a matchup between two of the teams in the NBA. How can the Bucks get it done? They have to make sure these five keys go in their favor.
