The Detroit Pistons had a solid year and finished with a .500 record. Let’s see the exciting moments that helped them get there.

The Detroit Pistons‘ 2018-19 NBA season has sadly come to an end. They were swept out of the first round of the 2019 NBA Playoffs by the Milwaukee Bucks, and it’s time to start looking to the offseason.

Before we get there though, let’s take a look back at how we got here. The Pistons started the season strong, and they had a number of exciting games throughout the year. Those flashes showed some potential for what next year could look like if they build upon it.

Blake Griffin flourished in a new role and enjoyed a career-renaissance under new Pistons head coach Dwane Casey. Reggie Jackson became a reliable shooter from 3-point range. We even saw rookie guard Bruce Brown Jr. develop into a hound on the defensive end who could hold his own against strong offensive players.

How does that old phrase go? Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened. That’s how the fanbase should feel about the Pistons’ 2018-19 campaign. They got back to the playoffs for the first time in a few years, and there are some solid building blocks on this roster moving forward under Casey.

Let’s look back at those memories that made us smile, shout and so much more from this past season.
