The Milwaukee Bucks swept the Detroit Pistons out of the 2019 NBA Playoffs, and they’re moving on thanks to excellent work they showed all series long. Here are three takeaways from Game 4.

The Milwaukee Bucks are moving on to the second round of the 2019 NBA Playoffs after they completed their sweep over the Detroit Pistons Monday night. They won Game 4 on the road, 127-104, but it was far from their most dominant performance of the series.

One area they did dominate, though, was in the free throw department, as they had 41 attempts to the Pistons’ 12. For reference, Giannis Antetokounmpo finished 15-of-20 from the line on his way to 41 points.

The Bucks lost both the first and second quarters, but turned it on during the second half. Eric Bledsoe finished the game 7-of-12 from the floor with 16 points, and Khris Middleton was super efficient with a 5-for-11 shooting line on his way to 18 points. The Greek Freak added nine rebounds and four blocks to his new playoff career high.

Milwaukee allowed Blake Griffin and Reggie Jackson to get rolling a little bit, as they finished with 22 and 26 points, respectively. But they didn’t allow much else, as Andre Drummond was the next leading scorer with just 15.

Milwaukee now has a second round matchup with the Boston Celtics looming, and they’ll be enjoying the break they have over the next few days to get healthy and rest up. Luckily for them, Giannis has been averaging so few minutes this year due to their large margins of victory. If they can maintain some of what they did well in Game 4 moving forward, it will make their road through the playoffs that much easier to travel.
