1. Trending in the right direction

The biggest takeaway wasn’t from the players, but Toronto Raptors’ head coach Nick Nurse. His instantly famous surprised reaction to a call from the officials in the first quarter of Game 4 had NBA Twitter buzzing.

Nurse was the personification of the shocked opened mouth emoticon (emoji), and his reaction will live to be one of the greatest of all time for the Raptors Twitter community. Even yours truly, who hasn’t changed his Twitter display picture in seven years, couldn’t pass up this opportunity.

What was the cherry on top of the cake, was Nurse’s response when he was asked postgame if he knew that he was trending.

Sunday night’s win showed Kawhi Leonard perform at a superstar level, Lowry’s elite playmaking and intensity on defense, Siakam being a star in the making, the infamously named Bench Mob getting it going again and their head coach was trending on NBA Twitter.
