3. Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum have been unstoppable

Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum have been unstoppable in this series. Lillard had 24 points in Game 4, shooting 4-for-8 from the 3-point line. He was also a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line.

While 24 points may not seem like much, the way Lillard has been able to shoot from long range has the kept the Thunder at bay in this series every time they’ve tried to come back from the deficits they’ve faced.

CJ McCollum led the Trail Blazers in scoring with 27 points. His points down the stretch of Game 4 kept the Thunder from closing in on the Blazers. He shot 10-for-20 from the field and was 5-for-9 from the 3-point line (55.6 percent).

Both players’ hot shooting has elevated the Blazers in this series. When they lost Jusuf Nurkic, it looked like it was going to be a tough going for Portland in the playoffs, but McCollum and Lillard have put the team on their back.
