No. 3: Harden continues to be a handful

One takeaway that has been the case throughout the first two games of the series between Houston and Utah, but was especially the case in Game 2 for the Rockets, was the dominance of James Harden.

The MVP front-runner has had an already impressive postseason following his stellar regular season, once again putting on a show against Utah in Game 2 on Wednesday night.

Harden led the way for Rockets in the win, tallying a game-high 32 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists in 33-plus minutes. He shot 11-of-24 from the field while recording a plus/minus of plus-24 in the game.

The triple-double is Harden’s third triple-double of his postseason career. He had 25 points by halftime in a matchup Houston handled for a majority of the game.

There are a handful of things that will need to go Utah’s way in this series if it wants to battle back into it and erase a 2-0 deficit it faces heading into Game 3 on Saturday.

But perhaps the biggest thing that the Jazz need to try and focus on is trying to hold Harden in check for the remainder of the series to try and steal a couple of games from the MVP front-runner and the Rockets if that indeed happens.
