The Utah Jazz fell to the Houston Rockets in Game 1 of their first round series in the 2019 NBA Playoffs. Let’s take a look at three takeaways from the loss.

The 2019 NBA Playoffs are officially here. Over the weekend, the league kicked off the opening round of postseason play, capped off with the 5-seeded Utah Jazz visiting the 4-seeded Houston Rockets in Game 1 of the Western Conference quarterfinals.

In the final game on the schedule among Game 1 contests for the opening round, Houston came away with a 122-90 victory over Utah.

Along with the 32-point win, the Rockets handed the Jazz their largest margin of defeat in an opening round playoff game in franchise history.

James Harden led the way for Houston in the game, finishing with a near triple-double of 29 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds in nearly 33 minutes of action. Rudy Gobert led Utah with a team-high 22 points and 12 rebounds in just under 34 minutes.
