Just Say Goodbye

Go ahead and get your goodbyes in now, we won’t be seeing them back next year.

  • Avery Bradley
  • Justin Holiday

Avery Bradley, despite outperforming in his tenure, is simply too expensive to bring back. He only has $3 million guaranteed next year out of his $12.9 million dollar deal. The Grizzlies are likely to decline that option outright or trade him in a salary dump. Bradley is a fine player, but his price tag is a little high.

Justin Holiday started out the season tossing all kinds of bricks but eventually rounded into form. He’s an unrestricted free agent that will likely want more than the $4.5 million he received this season.

He doesn’t really fit into the Grizzlies plans. A strong April was able to bring his three-point percentage to 34.8 percent on the year, but he never really sniffed his early season success with the Chicago Bulls while in Memphis.
