The Memphis Grizzlies’ offseason is underway and it’s already time to start wondering what the team will look like next year. Who stays and who goes?

It didn’t take long for the Memphis Grizzlies to shake things up by firing coach J.B. Bickerstaff and having longtime GM Chris Wallace move down into a scouting role. John Hollinger will also be taking a lesser role with the franchise.

The move came as a surprise, a welcome one to be sure, to most of Grizzlies’ Twitter and subreddit, where fans had been calling for Bickerstaff’s outing for months and Wallace’s outing since the wheel was invented.

The sudden firing casts more uncertainty on an upcoming season that is still, well, quite uncertain. The roster, after going over a significant haul throughout the season, could look even more different when the 2019-20 season tips off.

The roster comes with a bunch of questions: will Mike Conley be traded? Will the Grizzlies have their own pick? Will any other smaller trades be made?

The biggest question of all though is: Where is this team going?

They showed they could be mildly competitive throughout the last stretch of the season before injuries decimated the roster. Will the new management see that as a positive sign and keep the core together or try and tear it all down this year?

Let’s go ahead and start with our predictions for the Grizzlies upcoming season.

*For the purpose of this exercise, this means players that will be on the team opening day. This is not a prediction on who will be with the team the whole year.*
