The season is officially over for the Los Angeles Lakers, which means it’s time to turn our attention to the upcoming 2019 NBA Draft and the prospects who belong on the club’s radar.

Never would I have guessed the Los Angeles Lakers would be picking No. 10 in the 2019 NBA Draft. When LeBron James signed back in July, it seemed like a near guarantee they’d at least be making their selection outside of the lottery — barring a trade, of course.

Well here we are. The Lakers missed the playoffs, Magic Johnson is gone and the storied franchise heads into the offseason in tatters. No one knows for sure what the future holds for this club, especially as it relates to the front office.

There’s even more uncertainty surrounding the roster and what it could look like come October.

Seeing as it’s only April, though, there’s not much we can do besides speculate.

The next big event on the docket for the Lakers is the 2019 NBA Draft, which is still more than two months away. That, however, means we’re at a perfect point in time to begin assessing some potential options for the No. 10 overall pick.

As you’ve probably figured out by now, that’s exactly what we’re here to do.

So without further ado, let’s take a quick look at a few early, realistic options for the Lakers at No. 10 overall. There’s bound to be some movement in the next two months, but these prospects seem like solid options as we work our way through the middle of April.
