New York Knicks: Top 20 plays of the 2018-19 NBA season
12. The dribbling exhibition by Tim Hardaway Jr.
Before getting traded away from New York, Tim Hardaway Jr. was the team’s leading scorer, averaging 19.1 points per game, one of the highest scoring averages in the Eastern Conference. Even though he did not contribute to any other aspect of the team, Hardaway could score the basketball with ease.
In this game Hardaway dribbled through the legs of Pascal Siakam, a very good defender, before hitting the leaning bank shot.. He scored 27 points against the Toronto Raptors, a great defensive team, and was averaging 24.5 points per game at the time.
11. Trier makes an Orlando Magic smoothie
We may be getting kind of repetitive at this point, but Trier was just very good during his rookie season. In yet another example of that, Trier dribbles out the Orlando Magic defense with a behind the back, followed by a spin move while changing his shot mid-air.
In this game, Trier finished with 18 points despite only taking five shots! His efficiency, as well as the fact that he attacked the basket constantly, led him to this impressive performance in front of many Knicks fans.
