16. Allonzo Trier swats the shot on the fast break

Moving on to the biggest revelation of the season, Allonzo Trier has been one of the very few reasons to smile while watching the New York Knicks since day 1 of the season. What makes him such a fan favorite is his dedication to the team as an undrafted free agent, fighting for every play while putting his body on the line.

Trier got picked up by the Knicks, signing a two-way contract and eventually turning that into a real deal. His impressive performances — and plays like this — earned him a two-year contract, not two months after the season started.

15. Kevin Knox jumping on another planet

Remember those mid-season hating comments on Kevin Knox? Those pretty much disappeared after Knox started making plays like that one on a regular basis. Ben Simmons has proven that he is an elite defender, both inside and in the perimeter.

Still, Knox managed to posterize Simmons, dropping him to the ground. Unfortunately, this electrifying slam dunk was not enough to fuel a late comeback by the New York Knicks.
