The 2018-19 season proved to be another disappointing one for the Chicago Bulls as well as their fans.

The Chicago Bulls finished with a 27-55 mark in 2017-18. This was the first time in over a decade that the team failed to win at least 30 games.

In an attempt to improve upon that win-loss total, the Bulls began the offseason by selecting Wendell Carter Jr. and Chandler Hutchison in the 2018 NBA Draft. Their offseason moves continued with retaining Zach LaVine and adding Jabari Parker to the mix.

Having made those moves, the Bulls were hoping it would be enough to put them in playoff contention, even if it meant finishing with the seventh or eighth-best record in the Eastern Conference.

After all, LaVine had shown flashes of what he can do, albeit in a limited sample size. Lauri Markkanen had exceeded expectations and was expected to be a given a larger role in the offense.

Unfortunately, those aspirations went up in smoke from the first day of training camp, as constant injuries hindered Chicago for a majority of the season. With the season now in the rearview mirror, here’s a look back on the three biggest disappointments from the 2018-19 campaign.
