12. Trae Young (kinda) puts Dennis Smith Jr. in the spin cycle

We won’t know whether the Hawks or the Mavs won the Trae Young-Luka Doncic trade for at least a few years. In the early stages, though, it looks like both teams made out well, especially if Young pulls out cool stuff like this on a regular basis. He got a little help from a subtle Vince Carter screen mid-rotation, but it doesn’t diminish how great it was.

11. Kevin Huerter follows up his miss with a dunk on Lauri Markkanen

Here’s Huerter once again showing that he can do more than just shoot 3s. He can also follow up his own misfires and elevate for a strong follow-up flush. To be fair, this wasn’t as much a dunk on Bulls stretch-big Lauri Markkanen as it was a dunk in his general vicinity, but that doesn’t mitigate the voracity of Huerter’s feat.
