49. Donovan Mitchell drops career-high in duel with Giannis Antetokounmpo
Trailing by 17 in the fourth quarter against the NBA’s best team, Donovan Mitchell and the Utah Jazz decided they were ready to play fast and loose. Thanks to Mitchell’s career-high 46 points on 15-of-32 shooting, they were able to close the gap and pull off the unlikely comeback.
With a 42-33 advantage in the final frame, the Jazz ripped off their fourth straight win despite Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 43 points, 14 boards and eight dimes. Mitchell tallied 17 points over the last 8:10, including the dagger 3 with under a minute to go to extend the Jazz’s lead to six points.

It was an enthralling duel between two of the game’s superstar youngsters, but also a terrific come-from-behind victory for Utah, making this contest doubly exciting.
