7. Richaun Holmes’ left-handed poster over Rudy Gober

When you’re a seven-footer in this league, people are going to try and dunk on you. When you also just so happen to be one of the NBA’s premier shot-blockers with a Defensive Player of the Year award to your name, they’re really going to try and put you on a poster.

Such was the fate of Rudy Gobert on March 13 when Richaun Holmes drove the lane, stumbled, collected himself, and somehow put the French Rejection on a poster that no one was expecting.

It’s not that anyone would ever doubt Holmes’ athleticism, but to nearly fall down, gather himself on the go and still rise up for the lefty flush over one of the game’s elite shot-blockers? Even Gobert himself seemed surprised that Holmes was able to get up that high and that fast.

Consider this one of the few times the Stifle Tower got jammed on this season, and certainly one of the most underrated among that group.
