The Minnesota Timberwolves underachieved in the 2018-19 season, but there were still some moments that made the hearts of this tortured fanbase flutter throughout the year.

The 2018-19 NBA regular season has faded and the Minnesota Timberwolves will yet again miss out on the glory of playoff basketball. While Jimmy Butler‘s September trade request put the team on the fast track to failure before meaningful basketball had even been played, that doesn’t make the Wolves finishing under .500 any easier to stomach for fans.

The Timberwolves’ season was filled with chaos, drama and injuries — as any Timberwolves season should be — but every now and again, the team gave us moments to get excited about.

Whatever comes next, the (American) North has seen a bit of everything, so excuse us if our senses have been dulled. With enough time to block out the bad in 2018-19, these are the top 10 moments that the Timberwolves will remember fondly down the road.

And if there’s nothing else, at least the team is ready for Game of Thrones to premiere…
