5. Dwyane Wade scores season-high 35 points vs. the Raptors

In a season full of incredible memories, this was near the top of the list.

Truly defining “winding back the clock,” Wade exhibited his wide array of skills in posting 35 points, six assists and five rebounds in 34 minutes of action. By shooting 13-of-22 from the field including 4-of-7 from long range, Wade became the only player aged 36 or over to return this line.

Following the game, Wade took to Instagram to acknowledge both the significance of the game and also the opposition involved in the performance.

True to form, Wade came up huge in the final quarter, scoring 10 points on 4-of-8 from the field while playing the entire term. Unfortunately, this vintage outing came in vain, as the Heat ultimately fell to the Raptors, 125-115. Following the game, coach Spoelstra echoed this fact:

"“It’s a shame that kind of performance is wasted on a loss.”"

Furthermore, this pattern continued throughout the regular season, with the Raptors taking out the season series 4-0.
