4. Mike Conley’s career night

While this list could be filled with Mike Conley moments, his first time on this list is rather easy to pick out.

This game started the Grizzlies’ last “run” as a team in March, where they pulled off a three-game winning streak, their first multi-game streak since November. The Grizzlies icon also won his first ever Western Conference Player of the Week.

The Portland Trail Blazers were in Memphis on March 5. Super guard duo Damian Lilliard and CJ McCollum combined to pour in 51 points for the Blazers, who jumped out to a commanding double-digit lead in the first quarter — a lead they held until the fourth quarter.

Conley poured in 19 of his 40 points in the fourth quarter, hitting all of his shots from downtown as well as a huge and-1 on  a shot from almost 30 feet away from the basket.

Not only were his 19 points almost half of his total for the night, but they were half of what the Grizzlies scored in the quarter. He also dished out two assists, accounting for another five points. He was able to show that he could be the engine that spurred the team, even in a lost and somewhat disappointing season.
