8. Justin Holiday saves the day

After being acquired from the Chicago Bulls, Justin Holiday struggled mightily with the team. He couldn’t buy a shot and was playing himself out of the lineup. To make matters worse, the Grizz had given up two second round picks for him on an expiring deal and the pressure was mounting.

Holiday had one of his best games in Grizzlies uniform on Feb. 5, as he hit two clutch free throws to give Memphis a tough victory over the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves, 108-106.

His game against Minnesota capped off a great three-game stretch for Holiday, who had scored 15 and 19 in his two previous games. Those last two free throws gave him 17 for the game and gave the team a much-needed W after a brutal January.

In a season where the Grizzlies were falling apart in the second half and Holiday had been struggling, it was nice to see the team come together and fight off its demons.
