6. Bulls notch road win against Brooklyn Nets in Otto Porter Jr.’s debut

As was the case with most of the games on the schedule, heading into a road game against a Brooklyn Nets team in the thick of a playoff race seemed like a mismatch. But as they have done on a few occasions during the season, the Bulls put their best foot forward in this one.

With their new addition Otto Porter Jr. in the fold, the Bulls posted one of their most impressive victories of 2018-19, defeating the Nets 125-106. Porter registered 18 points (7-of-9 shooting), four rebounds and finished as a +18 in his Bulls debut.

Markkanen notched his third consecutive 30-point outing, scoring 31 points and pulling down 18 rebounds. LaVine also contributed 26 points, pacing Chicago with six players in double figures.

"“We got a lot from a lot of guys,” Boylen said, via ESPN. “I felt like we looked like a team out there and played like a team. I’m happy for them. I’m happy for our guys. I’m proud of our guys.”"

Chicago’s offense was humming as the team shot 54.1 percent from the floor and 50 percent from beyond the arc. Even more surprising, the defense rose to the occasion as well, limiting the Nets to just 41.5 percent shooting overall and 31.7 percent from the land of 3.
