The Chicago Bulls will miss the playoffs for the third time in four seasons. Despite their poor season, there were a few noteworthy moments from the 2018-19 season.

The Chicago Bulls came into the second year of their rebuild with hopes of being in contention for a postseason berth. As was the case a year ago, early injuries to key players like Lauri Markkanen, Bobby Portis and Kris Dunn contributed to the team getting off to a 5-19 start.

It was this woeful start that led to the front office relieving Fred Hoiberg of his duties and promoting Jim Boylen to the head coaching seat. At first, things did not go too well, to put it nicely.

The team was still lacking energy and spirit, and there was a disconnect between the new coach and the players. Following a 56-point loss to the Boston Celtics in early December, the players reportedly contacted the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA), as they felt the hard-nose tactics that Boylen was trying to implement were extreme.

The good news is the coach and players are now on the same page. The bad news is the Bulls will miss the playoffs for the third time in four seasons. While this season hasn’t been anything to brag about by any means, there were a few positives.

So without further delay, here’s a look at the Bulls’ most memorable moments from the 2018-19 NBA season.
