3. Joining the GOAT

Trae Young dazzled us with amazing passes and nailed some beautiful game-winning shots, but few things are greater than being included on a list that also has the greatest of all time, Michael Jordan.

Young’s first 35 and 10 game came against the Cleveland Cavaliers early in the season. He easily out-dueled rookie Colin Sexton in this game and led all players with 35 points.

It took a while for Young to reach the 35-10 plateau again, but he did so again on Feb. 27 against the Minnesota Timberwolves. John Collins combined with Young to put up 70 points, giving the team an easy victory. Young also finished two rebounds shy of a triple double.

It was the third 35-10 performance that earned Young a spot on a list with the great one though, ironically against Jordan’s old team, the Chicago Bulls. On March 1, Young dueled with Bulls point guard Zach LaVine, who posted 47 points in comparison to Young’s 49. The Bulls won a lengthy game in the end, but Young found himself in rare air with his performance that night.
