Washington Wizards: Top 10 moments of the 2018-19 NBA season
6. Tomas Satoransky‘s triple-double vs. Bucks
Tomas Satoransky was a little-known point guard taken in the second round of the 2012 NBA Draft who made his way to the league prior to the 2016-17 campaign, making his mark last season in the absence of John Wall.
This year, he was once again thrust into a starting role and would perform quite admirably, averaging 10.7 points, 6.2 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game as a member of the starting five, playing hard, making the right play and deferring to Beal with regularity.
In a January matchup against the league-leading Milwaukee Bucks, Satoransky had arguably the best game of his career, a triple-double of 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field to go with 12 rebounds and 10 assists.
The Wizards would win 113-106 in a true team effort with all five starters in double-figures, but it was Satoransky who stood out the most with his all-around play — an encouraging sight of his abilities moving forward given the extended absence of Wall.
