The Los Angeles Lakers came into the 2018-19 NBA season with high hopes, but a few disappointments caused the team to crash and burn.

This has easily been one of the most disappointing seasons in franchise history for the Los Angeles Lakers. The signing of LeBron James was supposed to bring nothing but success and glory. Instead, the Lakers failed to make the playoffs for the sixth consecutive season.

It’s tough to put the blame on any singular player. A lot of different factors played into the Lakers falling off and missing the postseason. Everything from the front office to the actual players can share a piece of the blame pie.
